Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, announced its line-up for 2018 recently. It has taken me awhile to write this for you, but here it is.

Prepare to be dazzled by a massive line up of bikes from Indian for 2018. Personally, I think they might have made the range just a bit too big. I was hoping to see at least another all new machine in next year’s stable, but hey, you can’t always get what you want!

Ready? Here we go.

New model additions for 2018 include Scout Bobber, Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse.

The parent company, Polaris, has seen tremendous growth since 2013, there are now 15 models on offer from Indian – a huge achievement within the space of just five years.

Grant Bester, General Manager for Indian Motorcycle in the EMEA region comments: “We continue to see positive growth in sales, both in the heavyweight and mid-size categories.

“For this new model year, we welcome the addition of Scout Bobber to the Scout family. The Bobber is a beautiful looking machine and has the pleasant ride to match. We can’t wait to see Scout Bobber arrive in dealers later this year.

“Whether you want a motorcycle for long tours with a comfortable seat for a passenger or something stylish for the weekends, Indian now has at least one model in the lineup that will appeal.”

Reid Wilson, Marketing Director for Indian Motorcycle, adds: “The Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse are two fantastic motorcycles, with two different attitudes. The Roadmaster Elite packs all the bells and whistles perfect for riders looking for the best of the best, while the Dark Horse brings blacked-out style to the Springfield line.

“Beyond these two offerings, we have elevated every model – listening to our consumers to bring new features and colours they have asked for.”

Here’s a run down of every model in Indian’s lineup for 2018.

To improve the handling even further, Scout will now also come with Pirelli tyres as standard.
